FireLas uses infrared and visible spectrum emitted energy with four wavelengths (with power) of 635 nm (0.2W), 810 nm (8W), 980 nm (10W) and 1064 nm (8W), which can be used for various laser therapies.
Laser therapy, e.g. used for pain relief, to speed up healing or reduce inflammation. It works by increasing tissue temperature for temporary pain relief.
The goal of laser therapy is to stimulate the cell to perform its function, but with increased speed. Laser therapies have been successfully used to treat a wide variety of medical conditions, including musculoskeletal problems, arthritis, post-surgical wounds, sports injuries, diabetic ulcers and dermatological conditions.
Unlike many pharmacological treatments, which only relieve pain but do not solve the problem, laser therapy treats the underlying pathological condition and promotes faster healing. This means that the treatment is effective and the benefits of laser therapy are long-lasting.
Advantages of laser therapy:
- Eliminates pain
- Painless treatment
- Highly effective
- Non-invasive (easy to use), non-toxic
- No known adverse effects
- An alternative for patients who have not responded to other therapies
Biological effects:
- Anti-inflammatory:
Laser therapy has an anti-edema effect because it causes vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), but also because it activates the lymphatic system, which removes waste products from the cells. The result is a reduction in swelling caused by inflammation or clot.
- Analgesic:
Laser therapy has a very beneficial effect on nerve cells, which suppress the pain transmitted by these cells to the brain.
- Accelerated tissue repair and cell growth:
Photons of light from lasers penetrate deep into the tissue, where they accelerate cell reproduction and growth. The laser light increases the energy in the cell so it can take in nutrients and get rid of waste products faster.
- Improved vascular activity:
The laser light will significantly increase the formation of new capillaries in the damaged tissue, which will speed up the healing process, close the wounds and reduce scarring.
